BAV does not charge a nomination fee for adjudications.

BAV’s adjudicators charge $350 per hour plus GST. A minimum non-refundable fee of $1,590 applies for each adjudication application. This fee represents the first four hours' work plus an initial administration fee of $50.

The fee is payable in the first instance by the claimant and is to be paid to BAV when lodging the application. The adjudicator is entitled to be paid his or her fees prior to publishing the Determination. The adjudicator has the power under the Act to determine which party is to pay the fees of the adjudication and in what proportion.

If the dispute settles then a refund may be made by the adjudicator at his discretion and having regard to work carried out as at the date of being notified of settlement of the dispute.

BAV charges a fee of $350 to issue an Adjudication Certificate if a party requires one.
